The Special Forces Foundation (SFF) is an organization that provides immediate and ongoing support to the Special Forces community and its families.
The Green Berets have been at the forefront of every U.S.-involved conflict since the inception of Army Special Forces in 1952. As major conflicts wind down, the demand for special operations forces increases, resulting in the Special Forces warriors suffering the greatest casualty rate of any force on the ground in the last decade. This accumulative toll of operations is felt by the entire Special Forces Regiment and their families.
The SFF provides four main programs to the Special Forces community:
The Special Forces Foundation continuously develops, evaluates, and refines its program offerings, ensuring the Special Forces community and its families are receiving the best support and care possible as they accomplish their mission, both abroad and at home.
During times of tragedy, the SFF provides immediate support to the soldier’s family with the goal of maintaining long-term support for those left behind. The SFF also provides counseling and other services to those left behind and the Special Operations community.
The SFF assists warriors transitioning from military to civilian life through career counseling, professional network support, and mentorship. Successful transition is key to the emotional, mental, and family stability necessary for a long, healthy life post-service.
The SFF has partnered with iRel8, an anonymous, peer empowerment platform that can improve and potentially save lives. Developed in tight collaboration with Microsoft, iRel8 provides best-in-class, enterprise-level functionality and security.
Our $1,000 donation will be used to help ensure service members and their families receive the highest level of support and assistance.
