Who They Are
In 2015, Glenn Frommer was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease. While he has the disease, he considers himself fortunate as he is in a position to get excellent medical advice, stay active, and make healthy nutritional choices. In Glenn’s case, the disease is progressing slowly. But he’s seen how awful this disease can become and has witnessed friends suffer without a cure.
That’s why Glenn has made it his mission to raise more than $500,000 specifically to support the PKD Foundation with critically-needed funding for research into the disease and to raise awareness of PKD.
What They Do
Beginning in May 2022, Glenn will be riding his bike approximately 5,300 miles across the United States to raise awareness and significant donations for Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Glenn plans to start the ride in Northern California and over the course of roughly 100 days of riding, make his way across the Rockies, through the Plains to Kansas City, up to Chicago, and down to Washington, D.C. Then, he will ride up the eastern seaboard and end his adventure in Boston.
Glenn acknowledges that it is quite an undertaking, but he’s hoping to gain the support, resources, and encouragement to make a difference in the lives of millions of people with PKD.
How We’re Helping
Our donation of $1,000 will be used to fund life-saving PKD research that will make a difference in the lives of millions of people with PKD.
