Junior Achievement (JA) inspires tomorrows with programs that empower young people to own their economic success.
JA helps students set their goals for their future and make plans to achieve them. It confirms the power within students to earn their own money and helps them practice making smart decisions about how to manage and save money that will pay even bigger dividends in the future. Junior Achievement even takes the mystery out of business ownership and lets students experiment with running a business of their own.
In today’s world, where graduating from school is only one part of being ready for life and a career, Junior Achievement is there preparing young people for success and inspiring their belief in their own future. Junior Achievement of OKI Partners serves almost 40,000 students annually in 38 counties in Western Ohio, Eastern Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
Junior Achievement’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
JA’s programs range from kindergarten through grade 12. These programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs that make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
Junior Achievement is very near and dear to our hearts. Joe is on the board of Junior Achievement and has taught at several schools in the Cincinnati area in JA business programs. Our donation of $1,000 will enable a grade in a school to experience a JA program.
