Who They Are
Archway Communities, a Colorado-based nonprofit housing organization, has worked to build and manage communities where people can afford to live and pursue their goals for 50 years. Founded in 1974 as Mountain United Church Housing, evolving into Rocky Mountain HDC, and finally becoming Archway Communities, its steadfast commitment remains to provide affordable housing solutions and supportive services. Their portfolio comprises nine affordable housing communities, strategically located in the Denver Metro area and Colorado Springs. With a tenth community set to open soon, Archway Communities stands as a testament to their dedication to providing accessible housing options.
What They Do
At the core of Archway Communities' mission is the belief that everyone deserves a stable place to call home. They not only build and manage affordable housing but also foster thriving communities by offering a range of supportive services.
Each community features an on-site Supportive Services Coordinator who orchestrates tailored programming, ensuring residents have access to vital resources. Additionally, collaborations with organizations like the VA facilitate specialized assistance for veteran residents. Through initiatives such as no-cost food programming, parenting classes, and ESL courses, Archway Communities actively nurtures the well-being and self-sufficiency of its residents. Donations play a crucial role in sustaining these essential services, furthering Archway's mission of creating a more equitable future.
